A Dream

Painted gold, a dream

His shine I couldn’t smudge

And yet my fingers tried

In a lazy trace of his smile

Singing a song on his lips

Writing each note on his skin

A pitch of quiet, rise and fall

Breathing a sigh to his melody

Beautiful sensual refrain, tender and graceful. A poem to comfort.

As Paul said, this is beautiful, sensual and gentle. One of my favorites from you so far.
